My Bones!

My dear friends, this time i have to write something different, because maybe it will be the last time I write here, and I am interested in that part of me stay here.

It's amazing how everything we believe and trust born of something, embedded in the context, almost certain to be somebody, but sometimes, and just sometimes, all we are changing radically, is it coincidence? Is it fate? Is it faith? the fact is that everything in me changed, my way of seeing life, seeing the world changed in the two months of protests, because I realized something big, that I have a meaning, a purpose, which was run for much time desynchronized with me, and this caused anguish and sadness, but when I realized that I really am here for something and someone, everything changed.
I saw the future as the output to all my problems, where all the bad of my would be transformed into something good, but I realized that in my future there is nothing to me now, but something quite different. And my answer was not in my future, but my essence, in my nature, in my mind, and when I really thought, I felt that even my bones changed.

I wish you well. Maybe keep writing here, I do not know, I just wish them well, and they can meet with God, as He found me.

"Be or not to Be"

Hello everyone, I want to present myself, my name is Jorge Bravo Esteban Herrera.

I was born on August 6th, 1992, in Santiago, Chile. I have lived here all my life, I studied in standard schools, until I was able to enter the "Liceo José Victorino Lastarria", which is the best school in Chile. Now I am studying Public Administration at the University of Chile, and I really like it.

My parents are called Jorge and Cecilia, my brother Pablo, and my sister Nayi. My family is not very big, but is the best family ever. They are great and each one of them has a particular perception of life. We are a very nice family, overall.

I am Christian, I am a musician, I love to write and read, I like to travel, I have visited Colombia and Argentina –which are very beautiful countries- I am very active, restless, funny, and critical thinker. I also like playing sports (even though it doesn’t show), I have a very social perspective of life, I think the basis of the "self" is not the individual person, but the people, personal relationships. I like to help the rest, I tend to be very relaxed, which sometimes makes me a bit careless, I struggle with my irresponsibility though, and I'm winning the battle. I think it is possible to change the world with every decision you make.

PS: My dad does not appear in the photos very much, because he is the one who takes them.

My Favorite Band, U2!

Hello my dear friends, this week I will post about my favourite band.

U2, its name, is a band from Dublín, Irland, which was formed in 1976; its members are Bono (the singer), The Edge (the guitarist), Adam Clayton (the bassist) and Larry Mullen (drummer). U2 is influenced by the genres of pop, alternative rock, dance, indie, but then it began to be the models of their own style, making it prevail in the world. From its origins, the band spoke out against abuses of power, dictatorship, social injustice, poverty, and inequality.

I like this band because it represents many of my ideals, their style of music is great, and my favourite song is, undoubtedly, "Where the Streets have no Name", in which they talk about a place where names do not matter, where there is no inequality, nor fights, where we can all live together in peace.

My Bycicle!

The bicycle may be considered an old piece of technology, but it's definitely new to me, it is not only a means of transportation, but also a way of seeing the world, slow down and see what is around us.

It is very healthy to use it, and environmentally friendly. It helps us to reduce our carbon footprint, to lose weight, and to be fit. I like the possibilities that it gives me, like going where I want without having to wait for buses or subway to go anywhere and see; see the sky, see the mountains, see the people, see life through the eyes of a tourist. My grandfather gave me the best bicycle and it is as if that simple thing took two different moments and joined them.

I Have a Dream!

Martin Luther King was an American clergyman, political activist, and leader of the Afro-American Movement. He is best known for his hard fight against racial discrimination, and for the universal and civil rights as Afro-American suffrage.

He was known for defending the civil rights in a pacific way, and consequently he received the Novel Peace Prize, for combating racial inequality through nonviolence.

In 1963 he pronounced his best and most remembered speech, “I Have a Dream”, during the protest “March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom”. On April 4th, 1968, he was assassinated, making him a true hero.

I believe that Martin Luther King is a role model, striving for the most needy, and above all things, because he always followed his dream, the dream of changing the world.

Las torres del Paine

Torres del Paine is the best place in the south of Chile. Is located in the XII region of Magallanes y la Antártica Chilena.

Full of vegetation and animals, is a natural reservation and ecologic park.

I would like to visit this place, not only for its vegetation, or animals, but its magic. It is practically the end of the world, people say that you can hear the silence, and also that you can connect with yourself, it must be a really wonderful place.

I would like to go with my family or with some friends, and I have decided visit  it in December, after I finish the final exam.

In Torres del Paine I would like to practice trekking, canopy, and to take some pictures, run across the hills, and experience many new sensations.

We will need a lot of money to travel, so I need work jajajaja, to buy a good jacket, expedition shoes, and a backpack. Also, a first cape, a tent, food and drink, therefore it is a little expensive, but it will be an unforgettable experience.
